Timothy Patrick Homes Comprehensive Building Process is the culmination of 50 years of building experience. Drawing on best practices from the nation’s largest production builder to local custom builders, we have developed a process that offers design flexibility, material choices, quality construction and service after closing. Our buyers are involved, but not overwhelmed. We set clear and accurate expectations on budget, process, specification and schedule so our buyers are educated as they proceed with the construction of their new home. Patrick O’Leary, co-owner Timothy Patrick Homes, started his career managing development of custom home, residential communities for American Village Development and American Village Builders in Kalamazoo, MI. In 1992 Mr. O’Leary moved to the Metro Detroit Area and joined The Selective Group in Farmington Hills, MI. He enjoyed three productive years which laid the foundation for his real estate career in Metro Detroit and made relationships that live on today. In 1995 Mr. O’Leary founded Hometowne Building Company which quickly became one of Southeast Michigan’s leading new home building companies with nearly 300 closings and $74 million in annual revenue. Under Mr. O’Leary’s leadership Hometowne was known for thoughtful design & quality construction. Recognizing the declining housing market, in 2006 Mr. O’Leary accepted a position with Agree Realty Corporation, traded ADC, NYSE. Mr. O’Leary was promoted to Vice President in one year and developed a thriving development business in Florida. Despite his success in commercial real estate, Mr. O'Leary was called back to the industry he loves and formed Timothy Patrick Homes with his partner Tim Stapleton in 2011. Mr. O’Leary has a BBA in Finance and Real Estate with minors in Business Management and Economics from Western Michigan University.
Tim Stapleton, co-owner Timothy Patrick Homes, began his career as a financial analyst for Citicorp. In 1988 he accepted the position of Controller for Centex Homes Chicago Division. In 1995 Mr. Stapleton accepted the Presidency of The Selective Group in Farmington Hills, MI. Tim managed The Selective Group throughout their most profitable years. In 2001 Mr. Stapleton orchestrated the sale of The Selective Group to Centex and took the position of Division President for Centex Homes of Detroit. The Selective Group closed 180 homes in 2001 and in 2006 Centex closed 900 homes. This success was not over looked by Centex Corporate Management and Mr. Stapleton was reassigned to Division President of the much larger Centex Homes Chicago. In 2011 Mr. Stapleton and Mr. O’Leary joined forces to create Timothy Patrick Homes and pursue opportunities in SE Michigan.
Mr. Stapleton has a MBA in General Business from Dominion College and a BBA in Accounting with a minor in Marketing from Carthage College.
